You were a beautiful dilute calico kitty, and you were part of my life during a time I will never forget. Letting you go was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I believed you would be safe, and I held onto that hope then—and I still do now.

I don’t know where life took you after that, and that’s something I’ll always wonder about. But I hope you found a warm home, gentle hands, and someone who loved you the way you deserved.

You were never forgotten. Not for a moment.
